Electrical outlets in the bathrooms must have Ground Circuit Fault Interrupters (GFCIs) to prevent electric shocks. GFCI is sensitive to abrupt change in electricity and cuts it off to prevent electric shock.
Keep the tiles caulked at the corners and re-grouted at the joint sections to avoid any leak and mold.
Shower and tub enclosures leak and require frequent maintenance. Leaks may only occur when shower water spray bounces during actual operation.
Clean old caulking completely and replace it rather than adding new caulking over old to prevent mold.
