Inspection of laundry gas connection
Connecting hoses: -- In serviceable condition -- Loose, leaks observed, hoses seemed to be near the end of their useful life --> Consider replacing hoses with stainless hoses
In the picture above, hot and cold water connections have individual cut-off valves however hoses (especially the hot water hose) are not fixed, metal type and may need replacement in few years.
As you see in the photograph above, waste water is discharged with a flexible hose connected to sewer system.
New washing machines use much less water (about 15 gallons per operation) as compared to old ones (about 40 gallons per full cycle). Some states have rebate programs for those who buy these water-saving machines.
