Foreclosure Help

Do you qualify for government assistance?

Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP)

HAMP is a mortgage loan modification program created by the U.S. Government to help about four million of homeowners to make their loans affordable and sustainable. Many homeowners avoided foreclosure under this program.

To benefit from this program, your loan must be originated before January 1, 2009 and your loan amount should not exceed $729,750.

Find more information on HAMP at a website maintained by Fannie Mae.

Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternative Program (HAFA)

This program is also considered HAFA preforeclosure short sale as a supplementary assistance program supported by the U.S. Government.

If you are unable to keep your home through Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP), then you may consider Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternative Program (HAFA) which started April 5, 2010 and expires on December 31, 2012.
